'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League comeback

Kane achieves his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his interest in returning to the Premier League has faded and he is open to explore a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is presently halfway through the four-year contract he inked when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the offseason of 2023.

The veteran forward has accumulated an remarkable 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German side, playing a key role in them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which marked the maiden significant trophy of his notable career.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has previously stated that he would like to see Kane go back to England, where he requires 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England leader has now suggested that he is no longer as keen about going back home as he once was, and would seriously think about prolonging his tenure in Bavaria.

"In terms of extending longer, I could certainly see that," he commented.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be willing to talk and have an honest conversation.

"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so goes and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not considering about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different options and different timings happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the historic top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the fastest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five leagues, securing the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a title had avoided him until he secured the German title last season.

Kane admits that he was not sure how he would respond after overcoming his trophy barren spell, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.

"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
